Baby Showers are wonderful events - giving the new Mom (or Mom to be) the support and kinship that she needs. But there are as many different types of parties as there are babies, so be sure to pick something you think the Mom will enjoy. Is she a quiet type who would love a quiet meal with her closest girlfriends. Or is she a party animal who would love a large loud event?

It can be a hard job organizing a party - particularly for someone else, so try to plan out as much as possible before the event. How long should the party last? What should the guests bring? And what decorations and food are you going to need?
