New Year Poster - New Year, New Beginnings

I wanted to give you a gift to help you welcome in 2020!

My New Year poster is totally free for you to download and print. You will find a link at the bottom of this post.

How has your year been?

It was a very up and down year for me with some (not) pretty bumpy moments. So I am excited to make my plans for 2020 and see what it brings. It certainly has a 'new beginnings' feel! I wanted to celebrate that fact with a 'New Year, New Beginnings' sign - and I would love you to celebrate with me.

What new beginnings do you plan to make in 2020?  I have a few ideas for you to go with your poster :) Here are three simple 'new beginnings' you can make that are perfect to start this time of year.

New Year, New Beginnings

  1. Deal with your unwanted gifts straight away.
It is so easy to put the presents you don't want in the back of a cupboard to 'get to later'. And then they spend the whole year (or more!) cluttering up your home. I have some great ideas on how to deal with unwanted gifts here!

  2. Give yourself the gift of getting organized gift wise.
Take some time to go through your calendar or organizer and make sure you have dates for the birthdays/anniversaries of all the significant people in your life. Even better - set up reminders or alerts a week or two in advance so you have the time to organize cards and gifts. Set yourself the goal of gracefully helping your friends and family to celebrate their special day (without those last minute scrambles).

One of my January tasks is to buy all my greetings cards in advance! It makes me feel like a celebration rock-star! You can read how I organize my greeting cards here.

  3. Set up wishlists.
I know Christmas 2020 feels like a long way off. But don't worry, it won't be long before the stores have their Xmas decorations up again :)

Taking a minute to set up wish lists is going to be an idea you thank yourself for later. You can use an app or notebook. I tend to use Amazon wishlists. My son uses Evernote. Throughout the year, every time you see something that would make a good gift for someone you love (or for yourself!) add it to your wishlist. Come the holidays you will have a whole list of ideas to pull from. Stress free gift giving!
